Romanza World Tour 2027

The 2027 tour marks the 30th anniversary of Romanza, originally released in 1997. The album contains several songs that became closely associated with Bocelli’s international career, including “Con te partirò,” “Vivo per lei,” “Caruso,” “Per amore” and the title track “Romanza.”

A 30th-anniversary edition of the album is also part of Bocelli’s current catalogue activity, bringing renewed attention to a recording that remains central to his crossover repertoire.

The Berlin date comes during a period in which Bocelli continues to combine material from his extensive classical and popular catalogue. His more recent releases have also included Duets – 30th Anniversary, a career-spanning collection featuring collaborations with artists including Céline Dion, Sarah Brightman, Ed Sheeran, Giorgia, Matteo Bocelli, Shania Twain and Chris Stapleton.

While the exact repertoire for Berlin has not been announced, the Romanza anniversary gives this tour a particularly strong connection to the songs that introduced Bocelli to audiences around the world.

Andrea Bocelli at Waldbühne Berlin

The Waldbühne provides a distinctive setting for the Berlin concert. Located in the Olympiapark in the west of the city, the venue was built in the form of an amphitheatre, with steeply rising tiers surrounding the stage.

Its layout was inspired by ancient Greek theatres and was designed to make use of the natural basin of the surrounding landscape. Today, the Waldbühne has a maximum capacity of 22,290 spectators and regularly hosts major rock, pop and classical concerts during its outdoor season.

For a performer whose concerts often move between operatic repertoire, Italian songs and contemporary crossover music, the venue offers a very different atmosphere from a conventional indoor arena.

Music from Romanza and Beyond

Romanza remains one of the defining recordings in Bocelli’s catalogue. Among its best-known tracks is “Con te partirò,” while the album also includes “Vivo per lei,” “Caruso,” “Il mare calmo della sera” and “Miserere.”

Bocelli’s wider repertoire extends well beyond the album. Across his recordings and live career, he has performed opera arias, traditional Italian material, sacred music and collaborations with artists from both classical and contemporary music.

That combination has become a defining feature of his large-scale concerts, allowing programmes to move between operatic pieces and songs familiar to a broader international audience.
